Remembering our Troops with Valentines

In January 2006 a Marine mom had an idea to send Valentine treats to her deployed Marine son. Her idea extended beyond the usual box of goodies to include new Valentines Day cards so that the Marines could select a card and send home to a loving wife, girlfriend, mother or child. It was a hit with the Marines and now many times we receive requests from deployed Marines for blank cards. Each January Heart to Heart volunteers send valentine cards to US Marines. These valentine cards are new and sent to deployed Marines to select and send back to their loved ones. The valentines can be purchased or handmade.
