Oregon's All Military Gala August 23, 2008
~Honoring Real American Heroes~
Join the people of Oregon to celebrate "Real American Heroes" at Oregon’s 2nd Annual All Military Gala.
In 2007 the First Oregon All Military Gala was a grand success with more than 400 attendees. Oregonians honored all five branches of the US Military as well as the US Merchant Marines. Highlights of the evening were renowned guest speaker. Christian Bagge, US Army, and Master of Ceremony, Jim Willis from the Oregon Dept. of Veteran Affairs. Honorary guests included Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, members of the Band of Brothers, and Gold Star families. Proceeds from the Gala were donated to the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Funds.
The Second Annual Oregon All Military Gala will be one of honor and gallantry, with a tribute to Real American Heroes. Honorary guests will include Congressional Medal of Honor recipients and special surprise guests.
Proceeds from the Gala will be donated to the Wounded Soldier projects.
It’s an evening you will not want to miss.
 This year you can spend a fun filled weekend in sunny Salem while attending the Oregon State Fair Veteran Appreciation Days on Friday and Saturday, August 22nd and 23rd. Admission to the fair is free for Veterans.
And, on Saturday evening, August 23rd you will be awed by the Military Gallantry of the Oregon All Military Gala, at the Salem Convention Center. Come meet Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients from across our nation. It's an evening of recognition and honor for Real American Heroes.
